Below are details of the Cyberpunk 2077 system requirements for the PC.
The details include what players require to access the raytracing features in the game. The requirements increase significantly if players want to experience improved reflections and effects through ray tracing. Ray Tracing requirements are highlighted in the green columns of the table below.

Ray tracing not only enhances the shadows but it provides realistic reflections. This is most evident in scenes where there are pools of water or rain. It also enhances the vibrancy of Night City when the sun goes down.
The video below shows how Nvidia’s GPUs enhance the game with ray tracing. Note the reflections and lighting effects with RTX turned on. The video shows the same scenes with it either turned on or off. The second video talks to CD Projekt about the visual enhancements and shows more gameplay with RTX turned on.
