Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update delayed until 2022

So far 2021 has seen little update action of consequence for Cyberpunk 2077 and it looks like it’s going to stay that way.

An update from CD Projekt today announced that the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update has been  delayed until 2022.

With the game never having fully recovered from the terrible launch, and new titles hitting the holiday season, you have to wonder if trying to salvage the game is worth it. Beyond the next-gen update, CD Projekt may well decide to let the Cyberpunk universe slip away for a few years. I hope I am wrong but it’s debatable how much value there is in continue to salvage the game’s reputation.
