This is not your usual videogame award, this is the Music+Sound Awards where Cyberpunk has picked up a gong for the E3 2019 trailer.
If you’ve never heard of the Music+Sound Awards, here’s what it’s about.
The Music+Sound Awards are the world’s first and only global awards programme to recognise and celebrate the indispensable role and outstanding contribution that both music and sound design play in the media.
Cyberpunk 2077 and Juice Sound managed to scoop the award for Best Sound Design in Gaming Trailer or Promos. Congratulations to everyone who put the audio together.
No doubt this will be just one of many awards Cyberpunk 2077 picks up in the next year. Let’s hope CD Projekt is ready with a new trophy cabinet because they’re going to need it.
