Last night the Game Awards took place and Cyberpunk 2077 managed to grab the award for Best Ongoing Game.
This was a well-deserved award considering how it all started and where it ended up for Cyberpunk 2077. As we know, Phantom Liberty is the only expansion planned but the game has been significantly updated over the past year and therefore it’s been ‘ongoing’. The franchise is also set to continue with a sequel.
Many congratulations to CD Projekt. It’s been a wild ride but it’s been great to watch how they have supported the game since its launch. They could have given up but they didn’t which makes it one of the best open-world games around.
