Some great news this afternoon as CD Projekt announces the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion called Phantom Liberty.
Phantom Liberty will include a new cast of characters and V will come into contact with inside a new location within Night City. This will be an existing zone that’s being expanded.
Phantom Liberty is scheduled to release in 2023 for PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Stadia. Following the trailer, a video message from Keanu Reeves was shown, where the Hollywood star revealed that he will be reprising his role as rebel rockerboy Johnny Silverhand for Phantom Liberty.

It’s also worth noting that Phantom Liberty is the only planned expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 so it will likely be the last major content update for the game. That said, the Red Mod tools have been expanded in this update which means modding is going to improve over time. Expect to see more modding content in the months and years ahead.
